 The Stage Post is set on the North edge of the stunning and unspoilt Salisbury Plain, and its 9 ensuite rooms offer an ideal base to explore the local area including Stone Henge and Longleat Safari Park, or as a central point for Salisbu
and Bath. The pub was refurbished in November 2001 and has a conference room facility for up to 60 theatre style. The main building is divided into a traditional public bar with bar games, and the 50 seater restaurant. We also offer a quiet beer garden - the perfect spot to while away a summer's afternoon ! The original building is several hundered years old, and some of the original timbers have been left exposed in part of the snug area - in fact it is reputed that secret passages link the pub to Dauncey's Public school whose grounds are close by.
