Owner and Chef, Neil Rusbridger has lavished careful attention on the restoration of the cottage. The lovely interiors are tastefully decorated in cosy warm hues, with homely touches. Watch your breakfast being cooked in front of you on the Aga. The accommodation consists of four double/twin rooms and a charming single, all of which are en-suite, and are equipped with colour TV, direct-dial telephone, hairdryers and with little touches like fresh flowers, mineral water and good quality toiletries in the modern bathrooms. Room service will also bring you a light snack or your early morning tea. Neil, who until recently was the chef and co-proprietor at the adjacent highly-acclaimed White Horse Inn, prepares dinners for guests who book the whole house, or by special arrangement.
