 The George & Pilgrim Hotel is located in the beautiful town of Glastonbury. Founded in the early 15th century, the hotel has welcomed people for over 500 years.

With its great oak beams, Monk's Cell and Confessional you will take a step back in time as you enter the George and Pilgrims Hotel. For that special occasion we have a choice of very special rooms with either magnificent four poster beds or a beautiful draped half-tester. An excellently located hotel for business meetings for up to 50 delegates, or functions for up to 90 people. For a leisurely aperitif or traditional ale, the Pilgrims bar with its 'old charm' is the perfect spot to delve into the myths and mysteries of this beautiful county. Known as the 'county of contrasts', Somerset's historical character and cultural heritage is legendary. The name 'Somerset' means 'Land of the Summer People'. Glastonbury, shrouded in Arthurian myth and rich in mystical associations, was once an important destination for pilgrims. At Glastonbury Abbey, the monks claimed to have found the bones of King Arthur and his Queen Gwynevere.
