Foxcombe Lodge was officially opened in July 1985 by his Grace the Duke of Marlborough. Set in beautiful gardens in the tranquil setting of Boars Hill, yet located 4 miles from the centre of Oxford and Abingdon, the hotel is an ideal base for visiting Oxford's historic colleges and exploring the picturesque villages of the Cotswolds and Blenheim Palace, the birthplace of Winston Churchill. All bedrooms were re-furbished 2002 - 2003 and are still en-suite and equipped with colour televisions, direct dial telephones, hairdryers and tea and coffee making facilities.
