There has been a manor house on this site since the mid 15th century and was previously the home of Bishop Benson and his monks. It came into the ownership of Henry V111 in the middle of the 16th century during the period of the dissolution of the monasteries and, as a reward for his leading involvement in this work, the house was gifted to the Inman family. The Hotel boasts 19 letting bedrooms. All rooms have en- suite Shower or Bathroom, Colour Television, Direct-dial Telephone, Tea and Coffee making facilities. Our Honeymoon suite is complete with four poster bed . We also have a self contained family suite with 2 double bedrooms and one single. There is a disabled suite with level access for wheelchair users and easy-entry shower cubicle.
