Knights Hill Hotel, set in 11 acres, is on one of the highest points in West Norfolk, close to historic King's Lynn the Queen's private residence of Sandringham.
The main house known as Rising Lodge can be dated back to 1588 as the residence & meeting place for persons of note. It is reputed to be on the site of the King's hunting lodge & grew with increasing success into a large working farm. In the 1970s & 80s it fell into disrepair & was purchased by the present owners & converted into a 61-bedroomed hotel. Rooms are en suite with trouser press, hairdryer, direct dial telephones, colour TV's/satellite & tea/coffee making facilities. Guests are temporary members of the Health & Leisure Club with its indoor pool, spa bath, steam room, fitness studio & tennis courts. The Garden Restaurant offers residents & diners alike stylish surroundings & fine views. Also on site is the Farmers Arms Inn & Restaurant, open all day for bar snacks, lunch & dinner. Converted from old stables with exposed beams, cobbled floor areas & numerous nooks & crannies, it has the feel of a traditional country inn. Above is the Hayloft, ideal for small groups and parties. Knights Barn Conference & Banqueting Centre is an unrivalled venue for conferences, meetings, product launches, trade shows, exhibitions, banqueting & weddings.
