 The Garden is a charming 17th Century building with a 19th Century frontage, which was converted from an Antique Shop.
The Garden is situated in the village of Boughton, which is set in the typical Kent countryside of orchards, hop gardens, woods & agricultural land. We are very near the north Kent coast with its interesting towns, beaches and Nature Reserves providing ideal facilities for bird watching & walking. There are many interesting and historic places to visit locally. The Cathedral City of Canterbury & the mediaeval town of Faversham are only minutes away by car or there is a regular bus service. For a day out in France we are only 30 minutes from the Ferry Ports or Channel Tunnel Terminal. We are very proud of the reputation of Vines Restaurant. We aim to provide friendly and efficient service while serving a wide range of freshly prepared high quality English & French dishes cooked to order using a high proportion of local produce. Our Menu changes regularly to make the best use of seasonal variations. The Restaurant is open to non-residents and throughout the year we hold regular Theme Evenings including Opera Nights, Wine Tasting & Speciality Food Events. The Garden provides an ideal venue for business meetings. Our private Meeting Room is fully air-conditioned and caters for 16 people in Board Room Style or 30 Theatre Style.
