Dunorin House is a recently-built hotel offering luxury accommodation to suit the requirements of the 21st Century. Situated in the beautiful north-west corner of Skye, 4 miles south of Dunvegan Castle, it commands magnificent panoramas across Loch Roag to the Cuillins. Dunorin House was conceived by native islanders Joan & Alasdair MacLean who privately own and manage the hotel with the aim of providing traditional Island hospitality. 'S e lan dith ur beatha! 'You are most welcome' to ten attractive bedrooms, all of which are colour co-ordinated throughout, with private bathrooms, colour televisions, tea/coffee makers and full central heating. The bedrooms and public rooms all at ground level with spacious corridors - suitable for the disabled. The food has earned itself an enviable reputation for its attention to traditional Island recipies, truly home-made and complemented by a select wine list.
