Alpe DHuez is a resort well renowned for its excellent snow conditions and long hours of sunshine. With 220 km and 108 pistes, the skiing at Alpe DHuez is wide and varied. The resort boasts Europes longest black run La Sarenne -a real challenge for advanced skiers, as well as plenty of challenging runs for intermediates and many nursery runs at the centre of the resort that are ideal for beginners. There are both indoor and outdoor swimming pools, an Olympic sized ice rink and a sports centre with tennis and squash courts. For après-ski, the resort offers visitors many bars and nightclubs and more than 40 restaurants.
