 The Golf Hotel is conveniently situated on the main road into North Berwick from Edinburgh.
Built originally at the turn of the century by the Coats family of Paisley as their holiday home. Within easy reach of North Berwick are some of Scotland's most famous golf courses, such as Muirfield, Gullane and Dunbar, as well as two fine courses of its own. The town also offers putting, tennis, an indoor swimming pool, sports centre and a park with trampolines, skittles and crazy golf. During the summer months sailing and windsurfing are popular, and daily boat trips from the harbour take visitors around the islands off North Berwick, including the famous Gannetry on The Bass Rock.
