Set in the heart of the Cambrian Mountains our 17th Century Inn generates warmth and ambience for that special break 10 miles from the coastal and university town of Aberystwyth. See the Red Kite from our rooms and spectacular scenery
Our family owned 17th Century hotel provides an ideal centre for walking, fishing and bird watching breaks or just relaxing in the beautiful unspoilt countryside of the Cambrian Mountains. Perched on the edge of the famous Rheidol Gorge the views from the platform in the garden and bedrooms to the river Rheidol and waterfall below are stunning. The newly refurbished Restaurant with superb views of the surrounding countryside offers a full a la carte menu of international cuisine using fresh local produce whenever available. Our two bars with welcoming log fires also offer a comprehensive bar snack menu and our 'Special Board' is changed on a daily basis with freshly prepared meals including fish, local lamb and beef and always an imaginative vegetarian choice. As the village local, you will get to meet some of the regular characters. Specific dietry requirements and Vegetarian meals are catered for - just ask, you won't be disappointed.
