In Bowness village there are many restaurants, shops, public houses, a cinema, a theatre and other attractions. An all weather leisure environment, Parklands Country Club has something for everyone. The club incorporates a swimming pool with children'sarea, spa bath, sauna, steam room and jet showers. There is a badminton court, squash court and trimnasium. On the first floor is a comprehensive club lounge and bar, 2 full size snooker tables, solarium and viewing galeries overlooking the badminton and squash courts and the swimming pool.
