The Middle Ruddings Hotel was stone built in 1903 (with subsequent extensions), and retains the friendly and open atmosphere of that period. There are two open fires: one being in Reception, and the other in the main Bar area - original fireplace. The Conservatory Restaurant is ideally placed so guests my enjoy their Dinner (& sometimes Breakfast), with splendid views of the Derwent Valley and Skiddaw Mountain or alternatively the Main Dining Room which overlooks the Arboratum and Gardens at the rear of the hotel. There is a spacious Residents Lounge, where Residents may relax, read, or enjoy the various Hotel Board Games in comfort. A 'Visitor Guide Center', where residents may choose their itinerary for the day; alternatively Staff will be pleased to assist in suggesting local venues & walks etc.. All BANK HOLIDAYS MUST BE A THREE NIGHTS STAY MIN. MINIMUM NIGHTS STAY OF TWO NIGHTS APPLY OVER ALL OTHER WEEKEND.
