Wringford Down Hotel is an Old Cornish Farmhouse nestling in a valley in sight of the sea. Where the country meets the sea in Cornwall's historic forgotten corner, the hotel is ideal for exploring Cornwall.
Specialising in looking after families with very young children we also look after the needs of other guests with excellent home cooked food (great restaurant) and a very extensive wine list (over 40 wines from all around the world). The perfect centre for walking - sailing - golf or just plain relaxing. Driving up over 'Hats and Bonnets Lane' as you near Wringford Down, just stop for a moment and catch the view. Surrounded on three sides by the sea, with views over Plymouth Sound, Kingsand and Cawsand, and to the west over Whitsand Bay, you know that your holiday has truly begun. Wringford Down is based on an old Cornish farmhouse, with many of the original features still apparent. The site of a Civil War picket post, its musketry lines from that period are still intact in two of the walls surrounding the property. There is always a warm welcome at the end of your day. Relax in the warm indoor swimming pool before retiring to the bar for a quiet drink, deciding what to choose for dinner.
