Rock House is a large stone house, full of character built in 1867. It is set in attractive terraced gardens with views over the Bristol Channel and just a few minutes walk from both the sea front and the town of Penarth. Our bedrooms are very comfortable with their own bathrooms and excellent facilities.
Breakfast is served in the Conservatory, overlooking the Bristol Channel or in the summer on the verandah.
Penarth is a small Victorian seaside resort, (complete with promenade and pier!) 4 miles from the City of Cardiff.
Penarth has a number pleasant restaurants within walking distance of the house.
There are excellent bus and train connections to Cardiff which is 15 minutes away by car or train and 20 minutes by bus. Cardiff is just over 2 hours from Paddington by train and about 3 hours by car. The M4 is about 10 minutes away, Cardiff Airport is a 20 minute drive from Penarth, Bristol Airport about an hour and a quarter, and London Heathrow about two and a half hours drive.
