The Watch House is probably one of the finest self catering properties you could find in Scotland. Situated on the foreshore in an elevated position with uninterupted sea views over to the Isle of May. Completely renovated it offers self catering with a touch of class.
Built in 1782 as a watch tower for smugglers it is on three floors with a superb Cupid Room on the top floor with a window seat and wonderful views ( the sunrises are spectacular ).
A turned staircase leads to a twin bed room with a door onto the Castle Walk. Another turned staircase lead to the downstairs lounge with original stone walls and oak beams restored during renovations. A full kitchen with all mod cons lead off the lounge and the views from the kitchen sink means no fights to do the washing up :-)
