The Accommodation

The Garden

Maesyllan was built by the local Doctor in 1902 and served as the village surgery until 1960. The house is typical of late Victorian design and retains many original features including a fine staircase and landing window.

There are two en-suite double bedrooms at the front of the house both of which have splendid views to the fields and the Preseli Mountains beyond. The rooms are named after local beaches.

'Gwbert' has attractive pine furniture with king size bed and an en-suite shower room.

'Mwnt' is furnished with a period mahogany bedroom suite and has an en-suite bathroom, a single bed can be added to this room to make it a comfortable family room.

The twin room, 'Pilipala' (Welsh for butterflies), is prettily decorated in yellow and blue with attractive furnishings. It has views to the side and rear of the house and has sole use of a private bathroom.

Each bedroom is equipped with colour television, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities.

Pilipala

Visitors have sole use of the comfortably furnished lounge and on cold evenings can enjoy a log fire.
